Context

studii.md is an online school-diary and gradebook platform for Moldova, bringing parents, teachers and students onto one shared system for grades, homework, timetables and attendance.

Problem

Schools run grades, homework and timetables on paper or in disconnected spreadsheets, with no single place for parents to follow a child's progress, teachers to record grades and absences, or administrators to see school-wide trends.

My role

Development Team Lead, leading the team behind studii.md as one of several platforms delivered in that role — architecture decisions, team coordination, code review and backend development.

Approach

Built as a shared web and mobile platform (iOS/Android) covering electronic gradebooks, timetables, homework and attendance, with real-time notifications for parents and students. Layered machine learning and data-science analytics on top to surface performance trends per student, class and school, rather than just raw grades.
